Michigan's tough economic times call for new approaches across the board, especially when it comes to preparing our kids to compete in a high-tech global marketplace.
Scott Jenkins has a five point plan to get back to the basics, ensuring our students the best education possible.
It's time for a fresh perspective! It's time for Scott Jenkins!
1. Craft Common Sense Solutions to stabilize school finances and prepare children for the world of tomorrow.
2. Increase Oversight and Accountability of persistently failing school districts to ensure that every child is given the opportunity of an outstanding education.
3. Prepare Students for College and the Workforce and ensure that parents are involved in the discussion of what is expected of students.
4. Support Teachers with increased opportunities for professional development and instructional services.
5. Establish an Open Door Policy between parents, educators, students, board members, and administrators focusing on gaining input and ideas to fix our schools.
